"Women in Islam" the book discusses the history of women before Islam and to see how peoples before Islam and non-Muslim peoples after Islam, in both civilized and primitive nations, acted in regard to the issue of women. It goes without saying that complete historical analysis of this topic is beyond the capacity of this publication so I will merely suffice with a short review of this history.
