Be'sat Foundation
The Be'ath Foundation is a charitable, cultural, educational, and propaganda institution in the field of Islamic knowledge, especially the Twelver Shi'a sect, which is run on a non-profit basis. The history of the formation of this institution dates back to the years before the revolution. At that time, the activities of the Be'ath Foundation were carried out informally and under the cover of the Great Islamic Library, which was established under the supervision of Hajj Sheikh Abbas Ali Eslami *. This library was the center of various cultural, service, and revolutionary activities, such that in the formative years of the Islamic Revolution, it became one of the centers for publishing declarations and duplicating tapes of Imam Khomeini (may Allah have mercy on him). After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Be'ath Foundation officially began operating in November 1979 and was registered as a non-profit charitable institution in early 1983. In the early years of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, the Be'ath Foundation worked to establish the Islamic Support Organization and the Marriage Foundation. During the Iran-Iraq War, this foundation established the "War and Renovation Headquarters" and the "Relief Society" to help the war fronts. The cultural, educational and promotional activities of the Be'ath Foundation are organized in the following departments and units: Islamic Research, International Relations, Children and Youth, and the Foundation for the Development of Cooperation with Africa, which began operating in 1370 AH with the aim of promoting, propagating and disseminating Islamic knowledge in Africa. Apart from the units under its umbrella, the Be'ath Foundation has also established several institutions that operate independently. These institutions include: Al-Zahraa Foundation, peace be upon her, Al-Hussein Foundation, and the Mosque Builders Association.
