<p style="text-align: justify;">This text carefully examines and refutes the claims of Ahlul Sunnah about Abd Allah Ibn Saba. It is almost impossible to find any single Salafi writer or speaker on Shi’ism who will not mention one ‘Abd Allah b. Saba as the founder of the Shi’i madhhab. This Ibn Saba is their bogeyman, through which they seek to scare away the truth-seekers from objectively researching the origins of Shi’ism. Expectedly, Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah has played this same card in his infamous Minhaj al-Sunnah. He is never left behind in such matters! This book therefore is a reply to Ibn Taymiyyah first and foremost, and then to his ilk.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The highest aim and goal of the divine scholars and those who tread the path of worship is the meeting with Allah and vision of the divine, a meeting which can neither be expressed in words nor penned on paper. For, a vision of the divine is the work of Allah Himself. And the work of Allah, like His Being, does not have any method (kaifiyyah) like other mortals, and therefore it cannot be expressed. He introduced Himself to His servants and manifested His Own Self on their hearts. By setting aside the veils of negligence and forgetfulness, ignorance, disobedience, immorality, evil ethics, etc. a person prepares his heart to receive this divine manifestation. Purity of heart and sincerity in intention, illuminates the divine light further and becomes the cause for the servant to achieve great heights in the field of divine recognition and reach his ultimate goal i.e. meeting with Allah.</p>

The text of Ziyarat al-Nahiya is found in some early Ziyarat collections such as al-Mazar al-Kabir, by Muhammad Ibn Ja’far al-Mash’hadi, pp. 496-513. It is also reported in al-Mazar, by al-Mufid as mentioned in Bihar al-Anwar, vol. 98, pp. 318-329. Of the several prescribed Ziyarat of Imam al-Husain (asws), one was recited by Imam al-Mahdi (atfs) and reached us through one of his four special deputies. For that reason, it is known as the Ziyarat that was issued from the sacred side (Ziyarat al-Nahiya al-Muqaddasa). One of the most important features of this Ziyarat is that in different phrases, Imam al-Mahdi (atfs) graphically describes the events of Ashura and the agony that Imam al-Husain (asws) and his family faced on that horrific and ominous day.
