Iskandarname is a product of Ganjavi's military poem. And it consists of two parts. “Iskander-name” (Persian اسکندرنامه; in Russian the names “Iskender-name”, “Iskandar-name” and others are also used) is the fifth poem of the classic of Persian poetry Nizami Ganjavi from his collection “ Hamsa, written between 1194 and 1202 in Persian. The title of the work is translated as "the book of Alexander"; the poem is Nizami's creative processing of various plots and legends about Iskander - Alexander the Great. The work is dedicated to the male Akhara Nosrat-al-Din Biskin bin Mohammad from the Pishkinid dynasty (English) Russian. (1155-1231) of Georgian origin, who were vassals of the Kurds of the Sheddadids of Arran.
