An Enlightening Commentary into the Light of the Holy Qur'an /vol15

Dr. Seyyed Abbas Sadr-Ameli was born on 1/13/1938 in Isfahan, in a religious and scholarly family.
In addition to his academic education, he completed various levels and higher degrees in seminary and religious sciences to a high level (which requires familiarity with Arabic language and literature).
He had numerous degrees in the following different fields:
A bachelor's degree in Persian language and literature from the University of Tehran,
A bachelor's degree in English language and literature from the University of Isfahan,
A master's degree in English language and literature from the Tehran Teacher Training University (because at that time there was no doctorate in this field),
A master's degree in ancient languages and modern linguistics, in which he also completed his doctoral units in the same field.
He was an excellent student and a favorite and respected student of the late Dr. Mohammad Hossein Moin (the father of modern Persian literature).
His academic mastery of Persian, English and Arabic languages and familiarity with French and Russian languages made him a distinguished and unparalleled teacher of English in the country's seminaries and universities.
Professor Dr. Sadr Ameli has been teaching in various universities and education institutions in the country since 1961 until the end of his blessed life,

including:
University professor and holder of the English language chair at the Tehran Officers' College (1961-1963),
University professor and director of the Persian Language and Literature Department (Islamic Azad University, Shahr-e-Kord Branch, etc.),
Professor at Payam-e-Noor universities in the country (including Shahr-e-Kord Branch),
Professor at the Shahid Rajaee Teacher Training Center in Isfahan, and Hazrat Zahra (peace be upon him) Teacher Training Center in Isfahan,
Professor at the Faculty of Islamic Education and Quranic Sciences, where he taught at undergraduate and graduate levels.
Teaching at the Islamic Propaganda Office of the Qom Seminary (Isfahan Branch), where he has been honored and respected as an exemplary professor for many years.
In addition, the aforementioned social activities in Isfahan have been very significant and noteworthy because, as a trusted person of the people of Isfahan, in addition to resolving people's disputes, he was a trustworthy and just advisor to them as a person knowledgeable about legal laws.
His services in the cause of health and helping the people of the society are also noteworthy as an unclaimed charity. He was a member of the board of trustees of the Hazrat Abul Fadl (AS) Health and Medical Charity Association and one of its activists (in addition, the plot of land where the new building of this charity is located on Ostandari Street - next to the Azadeh Academy of Free Language - located behind the Khorshid Hospital is donated by him).
Member of the board of trustees of the Hazrat Abul Fadl Mosque located on Bahman 22 Street.
Member of the board of trustees of the School of Research and Publication of the Teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) (which is a unique digital library in the country and the Middle East).
Permanent member of the academic and research board of the Amir al-Mu'minin (AS) Library.
Head of successful and top schools in Isfahan province, including Mashal Tarbiyyah Foreign Languages Academy, Azadeh Foreign Languages Academy, and…
In addition to teaching, he worked as a prominent translator of Islamic texts in the country and for nearly 20 years was the only translator of the interpretation of the Holy Quran in English for the first time in the Islamic world. He was also responsible for the huge project of translating the complete Book of Al-Ghadir into English, which was carried out for the first time in the world. With his firm belief and faith in avoiding theoreticalism and the purely classical atmosphere that dominated the students' thoughts, he used his mastery and mastery of multiple sciences, especially linguistics and Islamic knowledge, in teaching and learning, not only teaching Persian and English language and literature to his students, but also practically presenting the lessons of life and real and God-pleasing progress.
