The minimum that a believer can do is send Durood upon Rasulullah,which is also a way of showing appreciation to our beloved leader and master Rasulullah. In this Kitaab, there are various poems and couplets in the praises of Rasulullah and different forms of Duroods that can be recited upon Rasulullah. After reading the
book the love of Rasulullah should increase in one’s heart, one should emulate the blessed lifestyle of Rasulullah and similarly one should increase his recitation of Durood Sharif as is the desire of Maulana Abdul Hamid.

Salawaat upon Rasulullah (S)

In this kitaab Hadrat Maulana Abdul Hamid Saheb Daamat Barakaatuhum has discussed what is meant by the term رحمة للعلمين . Hadrat Maulana had also discussed the various branches of Deen that every person has to inculcate within himself such as maintaining correct beliefs, Ibaadaat, Mua’malaat, Muasharaat, Akhlaaq and the cherry on the top is the love of Allah. Also, these qualities are not only for an individual to inculcate in his personal life but it is the duty of every person to convey this message to mankind.

Seerat of Rasulullah Salallahu Alaihi Wasallam

This month is referred to by Gujrati people as an empty month, whilst other people regard it as an unlucky month. This is done out of ignorance else this month is equal to any other month. The older people discourage Nikaahs in this month due to it being an unlucky month. This is totally against the teachings of Islam. If a person gets married in this month, he will gain greater reward as he is breaking an incorrect tradition.

The Month of Safar

In Muharram 1434, Hadrat Maulana Abdul Hamid Saheb delivered a lecture on the new Islamic year. Hadrat Maulana discussed the great bounty of time which is abstract, the alternating of the various seasons, the months of the year, etc. The start of the Islamic year should be a time for one to reflect on his life and make a firm resolution to discard sins.Unfortunately, many Muslims are unaware of the start of the new Islamic year, yet a person living in the remote jungles of Africa will be aware of the new Christian year. Hadrat D.B. has created awareness of the Islamic year, dates, etc. to a great extent amongst his disciples. We live in non-Muslim countries thus many Muslims have even forgotten the names of the Islamic months as well, which is generally taught in Madressa at primary level.
