The Saqifah Conspiracy

Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly (AS) is a non-governmental and global organization that was formed with the aim of introducing the pure Islam of Muhammad, spreading the teachings of the Quran and the Ahlul Bayt (AS), strengthening Islamic unity, and identifying, organizing, educating, and supporting the followers of the Ahlul Bayt (AS). This assembly was formed in May 1980, after a global conference attended by more than 300 intellectuals from the Islamic world, especially the followers of the Ahlul Bayt (AS) in Tehran, in coordination with the Supreme Leader.
Objectives
To revive and expand the culture and teachings of the pure Islam of Muhammad (AS) and protect the sanctity of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet (AS) and the Ahlul Bayt (AS);
To defend the essence of Islam and the sanctity of the Prophet (AS), the Holy Quran, and the Ahlul Bayt (AS);
To deepen and strengthen unity among the entire Muslim community, especially among the followers of the Ahlul Bayt (AS);

Elements and Structure
a)- General Assembly:
The General Assembly is an institution consisting of elites, scholars, and intellectuals of the followers of Ahlul Bayt (AS) from all over the world. The members of this assembly are constantly in touch with the World Assembly of Ahlul Bayt (AS) and meet every four years to formulate policies and examine opportunities, threats, and solutions for their activities.
b)- Supreme Council:
The Supreme Council consists of a group of prominent members of the General Assembly who are responsible for approving the policies, programs, and budget of the World Assembly of Ahlul Bayt (AS) and also overseeing its executive areas.
c)- Secretary General:
The Secretary General is the highest executive officer of the World Assembly of Ahlul Bayt (AS) who is elected by the Supreme Council to manage the assembly and implement the approved policies and programs.

a)- General Assembly:
In May 1980, a global assembly was held in Tehran with the participation of more than 300 scholars and thinkers of the Islamic world, especially the followers of Ahlul Bayt (AS), and thus the first General Assembly of the World Assembly of Ahlul Bayt (AS) was formed.
b)- Supreme Council:
All activities of Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly are carried out based on policies determined by the Supreme Council. This council consists of Shiite personalities and elites from various geographical regions and lands where a significant population of followers of Ahlul Bayt (AS) live; countries such as Iran, Iraq, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Bahrain, etc.
c)- Supreme Council Meeting:
The Supreme Council of Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly meets twice a year with the presence of the majority of its Iranian and non-Iranian members. In addition to this annual meeting, ad hoc meetings, such as meetings to review specific matters, such as the budget committee or reviewing unforeseen events, are also held with the presence of some members.
