About the Book

Quran-e-Karim presents the Holy Qur'an, the central scripture of Islam revealed to Prophet Muḥammad over approximately twenty-three years. Preserved and recited in Arabic, the Qur'an occupies a unique position in Muslim worship, scholarship, spirituality, and everyday religious life.

The text begins with Surah al-Fātiḥah and continues through 113 additional surahs of varying lengths. Although arranged neither as a chronological narrative nor as a modern topical handbook, the Qur'an develops an interconnected religious worldview through recurring themes and complementary passages.

At the center of its message stands tawhid, the absolute oneness of God. The Qur'an calls human beings to worship God alone, recognize His signs in creation, and understand earthly life in relation to moral responsibility and final accountability.

Prophetic narratives form another major dimension. Accounts involving Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and other prophets illustrate recurring themes of revelation, faith, opposition, perseverance, and divine guidance. These narratives function not merely as historical accounts but as sources of moral and spiritual instruction.

The Qur'an also addresses individual and social conduct. Justice, charity, family responsibilities, honesty, patience, forgiveness, prayer, fasting, and care for vulnerable people appear alongside warnings against arrogance, oppression, corruption, and exploitation.

Regular recitation is central to Muslim devotional practice, but the Qur'an repeatedly encourages understanding and contemplation as well.
