This book is book 8 from Ihya Ulum al-Din The Revival of the Religions Sciences which is widely regarded as one of the great work of Muslim spirituality, and has, for centuries, been the widely read work in the Muslim world. The masterpiece of Imam al-Ghazali, unquestionably one of the greatest thinkers and theologians of Islam. Chapter Four: Imam Al Ghazali, explains the prohibition of Qur'an explanation (tafsir) by personal opinion (bir-ra'j) and weather this is a comprehensive prohibition or limited to concerned cases.
